Overview:
Ultraviolet sterilization band is mainly between 200 ~ Between 300nm, among which 253.7nm wavelength has the strongest sterilization ability. When all kinds of bacteria and viruses in water or air pass through ultraviolet ray (253.7nm wavelength) irradiation area, ultraviolet ray will penetrate the cell membrane and nucleus of microorganism, destroying the molecular bonds of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA, make it lose the ability to copy or lose the activity to die, so as to kill all the bacteria and viruses without using any chemicals. The sterilization lamp does not need to be converted into visible light, and the wavelength of 100-200nm can have a good sterilization effect, because there is a rule for the absorption spectrum of light wave of cells, that is, the ultraviolet ray of 100-200nm has the maximum absorption, the absorbed ultraviolet ray actually acts on the genetic material of the cell, namely DNA, which plays a role of light. The energy of the ultraviolet photon is absorbed by the base pair in the DNA, causing the variation of the genetic material, make the bacteria die immediately or can not reproduce, to achieve the purpose of sterilization.
